Treasurer - Oil & Gas

TREASURER - Oil & Gas industry experience preferred. Reports To: Chief Operating Officer - Finance. MRK is assisting an associate recruiter with long-term experience recruiting for this client.

Basic Function and Scope:

The Treasurer is accountable for the direction and management of Treasury activities including Cash Management, Treasury Reporting and Compliance, Treasury Operations and Treasury Back Office, Credit Management, Corporate Insurance and Treasury Services provided to related companies/affiliates.

The Treasurer is a key advisor to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) - Finance and will work closely with the Finance Leadership team and business people throughout the organization. In addition, he/she is the focal contact for the shareholders' treasury representatives and is also the main contact for over 100 lenders, relationship banks and Insurance companies doing business with the company.

Direct: 1 Head of Cash Management.1 Head of Treasury Reporting and Compliance. 1 Head of Treasury Operations. 1 Head of Insurance. 2 Senior analyst. 1 Secretary.

Indirect: 4 Treasury Analysts.1 Insurance Analyst. 1 Senior Insurance Analyst. 1 Treasury Assistant.

1 Senior Treasury Assistant.  Total:16 subordinates.

Minimum Requirements:

a. BA in Finance, Accounting.  (CPA preferably)

b. 12 - 15 years of experience in treasury with at least 5 years supervisory role in a global
